Google Chrome

This weekend ill be testing the new browser from Google.
Will be testing it as a normal internet user (Browsing internet bank, flash pages, SSL secure pages etc.) and see how to works.

Will write a review of the browser when im done (Monday).

What a day..

Been a while since I last wrote something on my blog and i'm sitting here at work trying to figure out what the hell to do. We have completed our project stage #1 and just waiting on a pending feedback.
Since 8:00 am this morning I been browsing YouTube and trying to locate bugs on our project homepage.

Think i'll start blogging some more while waiting for the feedback..

"Linqmania.."

After been working a little with the Microsoft LINQ technology I wanted to know how it works behind the engine and that's why I have ordered me a new book from Microsoft Press named: "Introducing Microsoft® LINQ" from my beloved friend "Amazon".
Found it for only $25.54.
I know what ill be doing the next few weekends.
I will give you reads a review when I'm done with the book.

Developer's "must have!"

Im currenctly updating my system on my machine in to Windows Vista and that can only be done one way: copy, clean, re-install.
It's not the install it self I hate but more like the time spend re-installing 3'rd party software.
That's why i made myself a "wrap up" list with all the software I need to install A.S.A.P.

Hope you can use it:

Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 - Every pro. .NET/ASP.NET developers IDE number one!
Without this tool my life would be terrible when it comes to doing .NET. (By the way: C#.. Thank you Anders Hejlsberg).

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - Can't do proper web services with some kind of data storage. And with .NET I will only recomment Microsoft SQL Server.

EditPlus - Need a quick sneak peak in to some kind of code? Use this advanced version of Microsoft Notepad. It's quick, has code highlight and even a webbrowser.

Lutz Reflector - Use this tool to figure out how a .NET (C#, VB.NET, IL) assambly works and how it's made. Often you just read the API docs but don't get them but with this tool your able to take a look at the source it self.

Firebug - You can't be a web developer without having this debugging tool installed!

Firefox
- You can't say Firebug without saying Firefox. Pefect browser. I love it (For now! Can't wait for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 to be done).

Linqpad - Perfect tool for testing your LINQ queries before adding them to your application or web service. Supports C# 3.0 - LINQ to SQL, LINQ to Objects, LINQ to XML.

SnapIt! - My own home made tool that makes me create C# snippits quick.

Hope this is usefull for you guys out there.
Might be blogging some more tools as I discover them.
